If you're in a solo game, just send the person you want to play with an invite to game. When they first come in, they are always waiting on a checkpoint. He actually could connect to someone else (a random from a Quick Match), just like me. The problem is when we invite/join each other's game. Sometimes the game saves ten minutes after the last save, sometimes it takes over an hour depending on what you are doing (exploring, doing side stuff etc. sometimes you can't even remember when you last you saw the game save. On top of that, the whole "quit and save" option when you press start just seems misleading. You can go to the outside of the Brusilov, but you can't go inside of it. You can't go inside any of the co-op areas unless you play co-op.
